"Fear Is A Liar" is the 8th release from the album "The Unseen". The song features a stripped-back acoustic sound with beautiful backing vocals by Tracey Sahayam.
The song deals with the theme of anxious fear by personifying it, showing how it can become an unwelcome guest in a person's life. The chorus of the song is an anthem to freedom and declares that Jesus is the one who truly sets us free from even the most insidious fears. When we abide in intimacy with God and his love, fear gets kicked out the door and has it firmly slammed in it's face.
The core theme of the lyrics are taken from 1 John 4:18, "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear."
