Have you ever had to sell most of what you owned, pack a suitcase and move to the otherside of the world? I have … and it was a bittersweet journey of leaving behind the familiar and embracing the unknown.
This song was written about that time, in that time, before my family and I left to move to the US. Hindsight is super valuable and gives you a much more even perspective on things. But even in hindsight I knew that this was a journey I had to make. It was like something much bigger than myself was in motion to make it happen.
